A return to some mechanical designs - I wanted this to be seated in a realistic setting
Using thumbnails I study shapes and mechanical/nature design- I spend alot of time here
I pick some to develop further using form- and start to indicate what the materials are
On this occasion I model a 3D base, find the correct dimensions of a 'space helmet', and bring back into PS to paint over using photos to introduce high frequency details and seat it in reality.
